It might help YOU during the final battle, but the rest of us are doomed.

Feck me...just looking at the bottle makes me wanna puke like it's 1998 and I'm hurling in the alley behind The Blarney Stone in Gastown after closing time <shudders>.

Mmmm, Jaegermeister. I still like that stuff, to be honest. But then I've never gotten totally wasted on it. Sangria doesn't hold the same allure as it used to for me, nor does white rum...

Personally, I'd just have to sniff the cork and it'd be all over. Asian drinking genes and hard liquor makes for a cheap drunk.

+1

Like Kirbenvost I used to love Jaeger but I'm such a cheap drunk that moderate amounts turn into excessive levels for me. Heck, who am I kidding...nowadays I get buzzed off a couple Molson 67's.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

The worst thing is being asian and into craft beer. Anytime my girlfriend and I go out she has to get a tasting flight of tiny beers and I still end up finishing them for her. Strangely enough, her asian best friend can drink like a white dude. Maybe it's because she's had a lot of practice.

Bleh, Molson 67... heh, sorry. I had my first Cariboos the other day and it was nasty. Not as bad as Budweiser, PBR or Old Milwaukee, but still.

^Dude...I gotta watch my weight . Though I wonder if drinking carbonated piss would be the same as 67's. I sure do love craft beers, though. But like your GF I get mashed after one and a half pints.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

^ lol, lucky. I'm actually kind of a cheap drunk for a guy with german/eastern european genes. 5 is about my optimum level, after that it's downhill unless I chug a ton of water and leave a couple hours in between. My craft beer-loving friend's bachelor party was tough. By the end of our Victoria Brewpub crawl I was just sipping water.

Tasting flights, JJ! 4-6 different beers and about the same volume/alcohol as a regular pint. Or two.

I hear people take something for the redness, too bad it doesn't work on the drunkenness too.

But hey... practice makes perfect.
