Takara MP-23 Exhaust Revealed

Cool to see some Diaclone repaints. It's not my thing personally but I don't begrudge Takara making some more money off the Wheeljack mould. I can't see this holding up any new original moulds. I'll file Exhaust alongside Gen2 Sideswipe, Tigertrack and Silverstreak: neat deco's but not pieces I need for my collection. Still excited to see what's in store for the rest of 2015!

I thought not many people would be happy about this, I guess I am wrong.. I am pretty surprised that many people are into repaints... Good for those who are looking forward to this. I guess I will just put my fund for MP 23 towards Generations Jetfire at this point.

Not sure, but seriously considering it. 60-40 against right now. But yeah, need to save some money. Too much spent this year on TF. I have got to pace myself.

Personally, IMHO, Takara can milk any mold as much as they want. it doesn't mean I have to buy them all.

I love the Sideswipe mold, but after getting Red Alert and TigerTracks, I passed on the G2 recolor because, I had enough of the repaints for him.

In fact, if this slows down the release rates, I don't mind. There's already plenty of stuff to spend money on.

I'm not super excited that this guy is coming out. Not happy about it, but not angry either. More like, meh, whatever. Exhaust simply exists.

He's based off a cool and obscure piece of TF history and I could care less. He would've made a neat club or con exclusive because of his niche appeal.

For me it just means I get to save my money for the next MP figure that I actually want.

Very excited about this release since I'm heavily into Diaclone cars. Hopefully, a Diaclone redeco of Ultra Magnus, i.e. Powered Convoy, will follow.
