Ok
Push sword into grey pieces both ends first then while putting the sword in again position your middle finger on the wheel like in the pic then pull towards you.
But please remember stress to the grey pieces in pic.
But for your purpose of painting.
Should not matter as putting the wheel back on covers the stress marks.
Be mindful of this.
