"Macho Man" Randy Savage passes away

WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time, Randy Poffo, a.k.a. Randy “Macho Man” Savage. Poffo was under contract with WWE from 1985 to 1993 and held both the WWE and Intercontinental Championships. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to his wife Lynn. Poffo will be greatly missed by WWE and his fans.
Macho Man was one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. He was just starting to come to terms with WWE again after all these years too. He will be missed.

I heard about this earlier. Very sad. He was one of my favourites growing up. The Mega Powers! Many years later he was great in the nWo as well.

I spent many a Saturday back in Cape Breton watching wrestling with my Grandpa as a child. Macho Man was one of his favorites & by proxy one of mine. A legend has been lost. R.I.P
Macho Man for the HOF 2012 !!!

I've stopped watching wrestling for half or so dozen years now but I hold some fond memories of the Macho man. He was one of the best and one of my favs. One of my first plushies as a child was a macho man one that I'd wrestle with all the time.
He'll be missed.

Definitely a sad moment in pro wrestling as he was one of the best entertainers in that business. I sit now reminiscing about how he was so awesome not only in the ring, but in cutting a promo as well; "Oooooh yeah!! Dig it!!!" Damn, too bad he never got into the hall of fame prior to his passing today; RIP Macho.
