even though i was the first one to reply, i think i will have to back out for this round due to some personal schedule conflicts, but will keep an eye on this thread for future themes

for the curious, if i was to draw the water theme right now i would have drawn lightfoot :P (yes, i try to think of the unusual when drawing from a theme)

Thanks to Ninjatron's great drawing class at TFcon, my wife now enjoys drawing Transformers.

here is her submission. It is based on the time a group of us at a Transformers convention modified the Marco-Polo swimming pool game into "Sea-Spray"

here's mine.
it took me just under an hour.
all was done totally in pen ink,no pencils/erasers here

i ended up not going for all out "tattoo" styled shading.i tried to keep it basic with some details but not overdone.also,i didn't want to go dig these two up to ensure accuracy so their designs are just certain details that i can recall from memory

i'm going to call it..."C'MERE FISH LIPS!!!"

(also,sorry for the bad lighting,i still suck very much so at taking pics

)

I will announce the next theme tomorrow night. So round 1 is from Tuesday to Tuesday, Round 2 will be Wednesday to Wednesday, Round 3 Thursday to Thursday and so on.
