Hamilton 'Predators'
If you haven't heard about the rumours of the Nashville Predators relocating to Hamilton, then read this article.
If you want to put in a fully refundable deposit for season tickets visit Ticketmaster's site.
I'm excited about the idea of another Canadian hockey team, though I'd prefer Winnipeg or Quebec City to get a team back.

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
I'm hoping that Hamilton gets a team and is big success. Thats going to pave the way for the Jets and Nordiques to return. I think Bettman and the NHL are getting frightened that several of the deep south teams are on the verge of collapse.
For years Bettman wouldn't even talk about Winnipeg. Now he's been quoted saying Winnipeg's return is "Intriguing" and saying "It's obviously something I've thought about in terms of trying to make right something that in one point in our history went wrong"(Quote from Wpg Free Press).
Go Jets Go!!!

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
I'll believe in a Hamilton NHL team when the puck drops. With Hamilton so close to Toronto, and with RIM buying so much land in Waterloo without saying what its for, I can't say I see it happening.

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
I remember hearing the Hamilton should get an NHL team talk back when I lived in Ont (15 yrs ago). Sure it is stronger than ever. I wish them luck! The NHL needs to realize where its fans are.

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
It would be nice to have another Canadian NHL team. I suppose with the rising dollar it would be much easier for a city like Hamilton to support a team.

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
i'm not familiar with this team, but i'm hoping that the goalie will have one of the various predator masks. and have their uniforms equipped with cloaking abilities.
obviously their kamikaze explosives would have to be removed, for safety reasons, but the extendable claws would be a cool touch.

Re: Hamilton 'Predators'
I bought my deposit into this team yesterday. I love the leafs, so now ill get to see them at least 8 times in 2009. Four times in Hamilton and four times in Ottawa. (seeing Ottawa never sells out!) hopefully a game or two in the ACC! However and most importantly I am a fan of the game so why not show the NHL that Canada deserves 3-4 more teams here! Hamilton,Winnipeg,Quebec, KW,and an east coast team!

I'd love it if they would move to Waterloo.
