Pretty sure at least some of this is staged and if a genuine transaction was made, the final sale price was already decided on. Everyone is just acing out a skit for the cameras. That much being said, hope the dude at least keeps one of each item that he has multiples of. Not sure why you'd need 4 or 5 G1 Mirages, for instance.

There was something similar on Storage Wars where Protoman was the expert putting a price on the collection. Apparently, the producers wanted him to look more excited to see the stuff, but Protoman pushed back, saying that the fanbase was watching and would call BS. Goes to show that on shows like these, some of this is fluff and acting/kayfabe.


At the very least, it's nice to know that this guy wasn't desperate enough for the money or the space freed up by selling the stuff to bite on the lowballing.
