Who's Excited For Rise Of The Beasts!?

I just watched the trailer again... And read the wikipedia. Its got me hyped. Im excited for a lot of the creative choices they're making. It seems inclusive... Action packed ... Funny and full of heart. What i love is that there are actual robot characters. Mirrage seems reckless and youthful. Primal seems war weary. From the few things ive been able to pick up it seems like this film goes deep into Cybertron culture and factions. I feel like... Im excited to see creative freedom. They bravely changed the tone with bumblebee and i think they were rightly rewarded by critical and audience approval. Do you have confidence that it will be a fun popcorn flick? Or have you been burned by transformers films lackluster storytelling too often?

I'm interested in seeing the movie, but not going to spend any emotional capital on getting excited. Trailers are like candy. It almost always taste good. But we'll have to see if that candy is made in sweet factory of dreams or a sewage spewing, excrement filled, place made of pure disappointment.

So basically, wake me up when the movie opens. Otherwise meh.

I'm interested in some of the toys, but the movie looks like even more Bayformer crap. When it's out on video I might take a look out of sheer curiosity at some point, but I'm in no rush.

I'm both excited and also not. I dont expect any of the Maximals to take center stage aside from maybe Primal, some rumour saying Rhinox has 1 line. So I'm trying to not be excited because I have a feeling there will be letdowns.
Take Age of Extinction for example. The Dinobots had their moment but they also really didn't. We will get cool battle scenes with the Maximals but only substance with Primal. Michelle Yeoh is Airazor so I imagine she may have a few lines.
I dunno. As a big BW fan this could either be a backdoor to a BW movie taking place in the past or just another AoE throw away the Dinobots got. I'm fairly certain none of the Dinobots had actual talking lines.

Not too excited to be honest. Transformers toys keep going downhill, and price keeps going up, to the point that I almost give up on this hobby now.


Look at the new movie's shitty toys, Hasbro won't even bother change Ironhide's face on the package, just gave him a new name.

Any movie that does multiple trailers and does not hint at the overall story, plot, or demonstrate some characterization makes me worry.

Not expecting an award winning show but hoping for a coherent story.
