What are the odds we'll see a Hasbro release of MP Shockwave?

Seeing as how he transforms into a "gun"

Frankly, I don't like our chances.

Maybe they can include instructions that finangle him into a space submarine, or a base or some sort of awkward Yoga pose.

And then let the fans figure out a way to make an "unofficial" gun mode.

Re: What are the odds we'll see a Hasbro release of MP Shockwave?

Well, I'd fall into the 'don't hold your breath' camp, but look at what happened with Starscream. It was rumoured last Christmas that Hasbro was going to come out with a version. What happened? I dropped full coinage on an MP11 and now we have a Hasbro SS.

The gun part of Shockwave will be of no consequence. I'm no expert but considering we don't have the same laws governing toy guns, importing a Meg 2.0 shouldn't be a problem either. Orange plug Megatron was a victim of the current overly PC environment we live in. We shift the responsibility of parenting over to big corporations and yet there's still no reduction in gun crimes; it's actually worse. That approach doesn't work: talk to your kids, that actually works. But it's work. People don't like work. Those people should think twice before procreating.

Wow, must be an election year, that was a non-partisan rant

It's a fictitious gun however, and would be no worse than the recently announced CW Galvatron. It's a little different when it's Megatron, as he is a replica of an actual firearm. Then again they did release him in legends scale at one point as a gun as well.

I don't see why Hasbro can't release a cyber gun mode Shockwave. It is selling NERF gun all over the places.

I think it won't have any issues with Customs. It's not a replica firearm. If it did, than Nerf guns would be an issue.

You are thinking of the USA, not Canada. We'll have no issues with him, just like we had none with MP Megs.

And also, Shockwave isn't a real gun, he's no different than the space gun toys you see in the stores already.

My thoughts exactly. No issue whatsoever regarding a purple space gun toy that doesn't look anything like a real gun.
