Let's just go see "the guy".

I wonder who didn't pay their storage locker.

I doubt it's one of us, no serious collector would leave a G1 Megatron laying in a random bag like that!

But at the same time someone who had enough wits about him to keep a hold of or obtain the figures in the first place. No one accidentally keeps those figures in that relatively good condition for this long. Especially the Megatron instruction booklet.

Someone who cared a lot about these toys as a kid, but didn't grow up into being a collector I suppose? Someone who decided to keep them for their own kids later?

Re: Protoman on Storage Wars Canada (

I just finished watching Protoman on TFYLP's podcast and at the end he dishes all the juicy "behind the scenes" details about being on the show.

Protoman, you comported yourself well, I feel you can rest assured that you represented the rest of us nicely. You didn't come off as a "toy weirdo" or "comic book guy".
But after listening to your story on TFYLP, I knew that assessment you gave was bogus. I was like $700?! That crap is worth MAYBE $200 at best!

Also "Transformers Collector" is kind of reductive when talking about Protoman! It should have said "Transformers Expert"

Good point. They have "yo-yo experts" and every other kind of expert under the sun on the various spin-offs of that show. "Transformers Expert" would have been far more appropriate.

Re: Protoman on Storage Wars Canada (

I know that it was just a brief segment on this show but it was nice to see transformers collectors and fans portrayed in a positive light and not as a spectacle like on other shows.

I wouldn't have paid more than $125-150 for that lot of junkers. Other than Prime and Megatron, the rest was crap.
