Re: Transformers Beginnings

I don't know as interesting as this is it's still just a narrated version of a comic to me. Despite having a some old favorites come back to do the voice overs I don't see this as something I would watch over again.

Re: Transformers Beginnings

I just watched it at work and may I say that it was pretty well done...could have been better but worth it to hear more lines from bumblebee, barrivade, blackout (who appears CAN say more then his name), and megatron who had welker return for the role. Also may help people who had no clue what was going on in the film.

7/10

Re: Transformers Beginnings

I should've done a little more research into what this was...I'd already read the prequel comics. I felt a little let down at first, but the more I think about it...I'll probably watch it a few more times, unlike "making of" featurettes that I usually only watch once. And it was cool to hear Welker as Megatron again, even though he's lost a bit of the magic from 23 years ago.

Re: Transformers Beginnings

More I think about it, this is probably the best of the "exclusives" that we got here in Canada.

I mean, I have the comics, but having it narrated with Welker and Cullen having some voiceovers, makes me relive the original series.

Any way you can post some pics/scans of the booklet to see what I'm missing?

Re: Transformers Beginnings

I just watched it, and I thought it was pretty good. Not as bad as I thought, but I probably won't pick up a copy of it myself since I don't want to buy so many versions. It was done pretty well imo.
