Funny show guys. Good tips for everyone.
BTW, it was Sony that wanted to change Spiderman around on the 3rd movie.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 62 - How to survive TFcon
Some really good tips, but some are a little contradictory. Or at least self-defeating.
Like you dont need to be the first in the dealers room, or even pay to get in early, but if you don't you might miss out on some of the great deals that will likely go first.
I'm also now torn on whether to come saturday or sunday. All the same guests will be there on sunday, regular admission is cheaper, and there may be some really fantastic deals, but I might not find the things I'm looking for.
One great piece of advice was to research what the items you are looking have gone for on ebay. I've found that even some of the figures that you all said have gotten more expensive aren't really going for that much.

What we we're saying is, You don't have to worry about being FIRST in line to get into the dealer room, as long as your in the line up, once those doors open everyone pretty much has a level playing field.
That being said though, you are going to want to get there EARLY (but not first in line early) if you want to find good deals/hot items. Most things like that get snapped up VERY quickly.

I'd suggest getting there early Saturday morning and stay till the end of the day. Remember TFcon is officially just on the Saturday. Then on the Sunday, most of the Transformers dealers leave and the Collectible Toy Show takes over. So there will be less Transformers there on Sunday. Also, by coming early Saturday and staying till the very end of the show, you get the early bird deals in the morning and closing deals in the evening.

LOL! Poor guy. I feel sorry for him.

Is he still wrestling? I remember him from the WCW/nWo days and he was pretty cool in them, causing all kinds of trouble.
My personal tip for TFCon: Bring lots of BAGS.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 62 - How to survive TFcon
I really want to add your podcast to my Blackberry app, but I require an RSS feed address. Do you have one of those to offer?
Vangelus did, and I've been enjoying his podcast for a while now. But a true Canadian needs a Canadian Podcast, and a little thing like an RSS feed address doesn't get in your way does it?
Either way, thanks for your TFcon tips over on the WTF @ TFW 2005 Podcast. This'll be my first time, and I'm stoaked!!!
