Re: Tips on dusting?
The best thing I ever did was get my collectibles behind glass doors. That is my number one suggestion. That cuts down dusting to a few times a year, and even then I can basically lightly blow the dust off. I use a lightly damp microfibre cloth and q-tips for thorough cleaning of old/used toys. I have heard that makeup brushes are great. Next time I have my air compressor out I am going to see what that does.

Re: Tips on dusting?
For air compressors, I use those canned air compressors. I worry that my electric air compressor will be overly strong and blow delicate parts off the toys.

Re: Tips on dusting?
Store them in glass cabinets. 1 st choice
Computer dust can, but let the dust settle before you put them back up

Re: Tips on dusting?
I guess the word about global climate change hasn't reached the backwater, yet.

Lots of earth friendly options out there. ( yes, most are propelled by Refrigerents)
Here is a safer option, other stores sell safer products too

This is what I use for my camera, might take longer than compressed air though.
If you paint with an airbrush, your small compressor would work to, just adjust your outlet pressure

Re: Tips on dusting?
Anything that releases refrigerants, like that product, Dust Destroyer, which contains 1,1-difluoroethane (aka R-142a), can't be called earth-friendly.
If you're looking for an air-driven solution, electronic "canless" options are available.
Edit: posted before rodimus' edit in which more options were detailed

Re: Tips on dusting?
Back on topic, my biggest tip for dusting is do it often. Its much easier to do if it hasn't built up.

The irony of someone from Toronto telling someone from NB about climate change is hilarious.
You do know what :P means don't you?
