Knock Off G1 Megatron

Hey,

I have been looking around eBay for G1 Megatron and right now I am dead poor. So I came across a KO G1 Megatron. Only 10 BUCKS! Everything looks the same on this KO except for the stickers and some painting.

What I am asking is that, does anyone have any knowledge of KO or has the figure I'm talking about? Could you fill me in on the quality, any other differences? Thanks in advance.

Have a good one,
Mike

Is nothing sacred? Next thing you know they'll be knocking of the the Constructicons, the Dinobots, the Seeker Jets, Binaltechs. Then what? Knock off movies and Prada Hangbags?

Eh whatever. I'd spend 10 bucks on that, be great cutomizing. I could make a Starscream to scale with him.

A knock off Louis Vuitton Optimus Prime. I'd pay 10 dollars for that.

Are you buying it locally? You're better off doing so, since you'll save on shipping and customs taxes. It's a KO; you pay for what you get, crummer quality. I bought the KO Devastator and it wasn't really worth the $8 I spent for it. Although the overpowered lanucher springs were dangerously fun, I should've spent it on something else.

Just hit up Chinatown or any local Chinese stores, you'll definitely find some TF KO's.

Re: Knock Off G1 Megatron

In my opinion....

Knock off and bootleg TF's are a waste of time and money. I also bought one of those KO Devastators and Superion from Chinatown to paint and it sucked in every aspect. Sadly they broke and I ended up throwing them out.

The only KO I loved was the G2 Oversized Bruticus that I had. Brawl was a bit bigger than G1 Prime!

Oh well, Dark Rage is right. You get what you pay for.

Re: Knock Off G1 Megatron

the ko megs in your pic isnt exactly in the same scale as the original.i know because i too bought it thinking i could use parts from it for a third complete megs.its exactly a sixteenth of an inch too big on the whole over all mold though with a little grinding and alot of sanding you can "adapt"the parts to fit.the chrome on the ko also has a muted shine.as a positive though, you can fire his red plastic bullets from both gun mode and a piece of his stock.
