Re: GI Joe: The Movie
I have my doubts too, I'm afraid it will come off being too cheesey like the 80's tv show. Unless they focus the movie on Snake Eyes and Stormshadow this movie will probably bomb. Also I'm not to hyped on some of the casting.... the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun as Cobra Commander... bah!

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
I hope its gonna be an all out action cheesefest. Its the guy that made the Mummy movies. Stephen Summers has his own scale for special effects at ILM, which is consider beyond ridiculous, really without him there would have been no way to do the sandman from spider-man 3 or the large scale effects in SW:ROTS. And Lewitt is an amazing actor, he was fantastic in the Lookout, he is definitely at the same level as Ben Foster.

Don't hate on Joseph Gordon-Levitt till you've seem him in action, Look at Heath Leger as the Joker in The Dark Knight, I questioned the choice until I seen the trailer, now I think he's going to be the best joker ever. I do think that this movie could end up being really cheesy though.

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
I hear ya, I just hope that the Director, Cast and Story prove me wrong. Just imagine it comes off like the live action Street Fighter Movie.... ahhh!

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
I have very little hope for this moive. Some things just don't transfer well to live action... The picture of Snake Eyes looks neat, but we will have to see.

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
I will go into this one like I went into Transformers... with an open mind. If I get a good action flick for the summer I will be happy.
Oh yeah... and Sienna Miller is black leather can't hurt either.

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
Why do we continue to call these movies live action? They're CG films with close ups of actors faces when the speak.

Re: GI Joe: The Movie
My problem with the Snake Eyes picture is that his costume looks padded to me, maybe its armor or something. Nice to see Ray Park is still finding work though.....I'll watch it in theaters but do not have high hopes.........
