Transformers Generations Wave 5 Released at Canadian Retail

Thanks to Cybertron.ca board member max99d for letting us know that Transformers Generations wave 5 figures have been released at Canadian retail. Orion Pax, Megatron, Bumblebee and Trailcutter have been sighted at a Toys R Us in Ontario.

One thing to note is that the Canadian release does not include the comic book.

Because of the french issue.

I'm really mad at that. Star Wars comic packs came with them. Marvel stuff too. C'mon hasbro!

I'm not sure which is worse, not including the comic, or having the terrible cardback (all with Orion Pax, and designed horribly...I cringed when I saw the picture in the Ontario sightings thread). At least the UK versions had the unique art for each figure.

I may just have to source the figures I want from the States on principle alone...

It's kinda interesting how hit and miss included comics are for us, eh? We missed out on the Universe 2.0 2-pack ones but got the ones that came with Animated Jetfire and Jetstorm, and the 25th anniversary release of G1 Prime. Maybe it has something to do with distribution rights of the IDW comics or the Hasbro just not wanting to include French versions of the comics?
