Avoid UPS [and FedEx] like the plague. From what I remember, the brokerage fee for UPS is about 50% of the declared value of your package...

However, you can avoid the brokerage fee if you "self clear" (http://trueler.com/2010/11/24/self-c...brokerage-fee/).

I've done this before, I ordered from Namco (a game and fight stick) shipped with UPS. Relatively easy if you have a car or can get to your local CBSA office

Also, as mentioned already, you will be charged sales tax no matter how much is the declared value. With USPS/CanadaPost you may get lucky. $100 and below seems to be the magic spot for me.

Actually they've changed that, you can now pick up the parcel at the closest ups store.

Also they don't except cash when paying for fees any more.

It is trackable, that's how they guarantee it. Anything I have ordered from BBTS I have always tracked. Once you get the email that says your item is shipped, just reply and ask for a tracking number. usually with 24 hrs on business days they email it back

It only took me 2 emails (2 mins to write each), 2 phone calls (10 mins each), 20 mins to drive and 5 mins at the CBSA office at Trudeau...yes it's technically painful overall but there's no way in hell I'm paying the UPS brokerage fee

I pulled the trigger on MP YOTH Prime. Ordered from BBTS. With the cheapest shipping available it said 5-10 days USPS air. Does anyone know if it really takes that long? Fingers crossed that I don't get hit with extra fees at the door.

Haha somehow I feel responsible for influencing your decision But then again, I do believe your showcase pics influenced me to get MP-10B

You will really enjoy Horse Prime man. The dark red is just so unique. I hope you dont get charged customs. Let us know how that works out for you. I may go this route too.
