I love how the armoured suit mock-ups have a distinct Halo look to them, hehe.

I'm all for anything that could possibly transform, that's a given, but with these things I immediately thought of Centurions. Anyone remember that show/toyline from the early 80's? Three guys each desginated to air, land & sea combat using exo-suits with the ability to "click-on" various pieces that enabled them to either fly, function under water, or become a mobile tank, motorcycle kind of thing or faux robot looking machine that looks like one of the suits from Alien. A few years ago I would have thought an idea like that sounded absurd, but now, not so much.

I'd say the suits look more like the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout and the Rock Soldiers from Shadow Raiders than Master Chief.
