Thumbs up World's Rudest City (according to MSN Travel)

http://travel.ca.msn.com/internation...entid=25292280

Anyone know how old this article is?

Toronto is listed!!!!

But most on the list have been subtly or outright mentioned that the reason they are on the list is that there's snobiness or in a place of competition. Afterall, Toronto was noted as the "economic engine of the country" (no arguement from me). Plus all the cities listed seem to be the largest (or at least in the Top 5) in their country. With so many people in these listed cities it's hard not to be rude to *some* people. Versus in a small city or town, how many people can you be rude to?

Argee? Disagree? Discuss.

(try not to get too political please)

Yeah right, we're pale in comparison to the rest of those cities.

We're rude because we're fast walkers?

We're busy because we run this sh** (Canada's economy)!

It doesn't matter if you run into 5 people a day or 5000. The same level of courtesy should be show. I find the larger the population the more self centered people are. Don't even get me started on bad drivers.

Re: World's Rudest City (according to MSN Travel)

Back when I worked as a manager for Famous Players I travelled to Turranah for training at their head office at Bloor Street. My impression of people who live at the 'Centre of The World' was that they weren't so much rude, but industrious in their mindset. Torontonians like to get their sh*t done whereas us in the West Coast take a more (sippin' on gin and juice) laid back approach to things which often results in things getting done "maƱana".

Oh...and the MuchMusic buidling is hella smaller than it looks on tv. Crazy!

Agreed; with all the cities listed on tha* article being so massive, it wouldn't be a stretch not to have a rude encounter at all. Surprisingly enough, Beijing is not on the list; not surprising though is the exclusion of any Japanese city on that list.

Yeah, it is very hard work to figure out how to spend all the money that other Provinces are making off natural resources.

Psst...I think you're thinking of Ottawa, that's where those big wigs are sitting around.
