Well, to be fair, Clone Wars wasn't as good in hindsight when they were only at season 1.5.
But both has given us something new at the same point.
I'm sure if you told someone in 2009 that Darth Maul and Mandalorians would be in Clone Wars, they'd probably go "yeah, right" with an eye-roll.
One might not like Disney, but we all gotta have faith in the team that gave us Clone Wars for Rebels.

My point of view, TCW Battle Droids were on the same comic relief level as Rebels' Stormtroopers.

Disagree, I think Clone Wars started off very strong, Rebels did not. Clone Wars was at it's lowest by Season 6.

Just finished re-watching up to season 5
There were only a few episodes which I didn't really like.
And the mini series about the droids, it was enjoyable and done well, but more of a Meh.
Definitely darker than Rebels, I think Disney is trying to push more humor for the kids. I'm missing Kallus, and the GI but I am enjoying the tie-ins to CW and the movies

Rebels does use the Stormtroopers in the same way TCW used the Battle Droids - but in my opinion it shouldn't.
I feel like TCW was at its best in those first two Seasons, and kinda fell off after that rather sharply. That isn't to say there were no episodes I liked after Season 2, it was just the overall feel lost something.
For Rebels I find I enjoy the episodes with smaller stakes far more than the main plot. The Lando episode was fun - James Hong providing a voice is great - I like Chopper - the lighter stuff all works.
To me it misses delivering on the more serious themes the universe needs to have. They try(like this past week with Hera getting wounded), but it all falls kinda flat to me. They need to beef up the writing - treat everything like it is going into theaters like TCW did - don't worry about being G rated for the Disney XD audience.
TCW included so many extremely serious themes over time - clone slavery, terrorists, suicide bombers, heroic sacrifices, chemical warfare, discussions about idealism(like Pacifism) moral ambiguity galore.
I'd like for Rebels to go more this route. Give us Rebels that go too far, Imperials who truly believe they are doing what is right - then intermingle it all with the main plot and cast.

Not hating at all. Just expressing my disappointment. I was all in during season one. Now it's just Clone Wars season 1.5+ all over again. Both started out great and hooked me in. Then both changed their approach it just wasn't the same. Robimus describes nicely how I felt as well. If you still enjoy it, that is great. No one is judging. Not all discussion has to be positive. Sometimes nerd rage builds up and peeps need to vent.

At the Nuremberg Toy Fair this past weekend, the LEGO Group showed off some of its upcoming Star Wars product lines as part of a presentation for attendees.

Might be a dumb question but please tell me who is BF?
Also what TV series set is that lady in red blocking?

I've actually had this come up in a discussion at work. My co worker wouldn't believe me that Maul actually survived getting sliced in half and falling down a shaft.
