-Robot Damashii #137 - Extreme Gundam (type-LEOS) Xenon-face [MISB, from eBay]


I'll be honest, I was never really planning on getting this. Normally, I actually REALLY dislike the design of the Extreme Gundam; it's awkwardly blocky like too many of Okawara's recent Gundam designs.
I'll admit, though, the Xenon-face parts help it a bit; but it's really the later-on Tamashii Webshop exclusive release of the Agios-face for the Freedom-style wings makes it a win by my books.
I know I overpaid on this a bit, but I missed out on all the usual stores' preorders early on since I wasn't planning on buying it to begin with... until Bandai Tamashii announced the Agios-face and Eclipse-face upgrade parts.

The Web Exclusive peaked my interest too. I went from "who cares" to "must buy." But there's other stuff that's more important and I need to hold off on this whim. Hopefully I'll be able to find the figure and add ons later if it's not too overinflated. Or I crack and buy it sooner rather than later..... Damn the Web Exclusive makes it look so much nicer.

Yeah, I hear ya. I made this one an exception in the "impulse buys" bucket; I just got in my preorder at Sideshow Collectibles for the limited/exclusive Battle Damaged Iron Man Mk.7, so that's gonna hit up the wallet badly as well.

Off topic: it's too bad we live in opposite ends of the country; you and I seem to share a very similar taste in toys, anime, designs, and whatnot. We'd probably have a great time if we met up.

Ever heard of toys2.net? I bought my HT Mark III from them long ago (Disappointed with the figure especially when they announced the Battle Damaged version a few months later). They're located in Ontario, and I think they might be one of HT's NA distributor.

That's where I got my HT Naked Snake from actually. They're located inside First Markham Place to be specific.
