- Scrounge. Friend of Blaster, he turned into a wheel. Just a wheel.

..... hmmm now that I think about it, Blaster runs with a crazy crowd.

Astrotrain and Perceptor really shouldn't be on there. Always wondered what it was that Kup turned into exactly but never let it bother me because he is such a cool character

My vote would go to Armada minicons Grindor and Highwire. Who transform into a skateboard and bicycle respectively.

I mean, com'on, they barely have any mechanical interior to support a robot mode. One is a plank of wood with wheels and the other is a frame with a seat, wheels and maybe a length of chain. Seriously lame.

People seem to think nowadays that non vehicle altmodes are "odd" or "silly", but they make perfect sense in the context of the fiction. You have an entire PLANET full of machines organized from the top to bottom around the idea of transformation...not just the dominant lifeforms, but some of the flora & fauna as well. The TF's (as seen in WFC and probably many other places) design things with transformation firmly in mind, as it's part of their core concept of how mechanical life should be organized. This extends to their tools, their weapons, their scientific equipment, and yes, even their pets, to an extent.
