The transformation isn't bad but XTB's inconsistencies with their tolerances will give you anxiety, especially when working the feet. I've seen a lot of ppl break them as certain parts are difficult to move
I forgot how bad that first attempt at Megatron was for Masterpiece. On top of the wonky legs mine also had the cosmic rust for the screws. Glad I sold it off when I did.
MP-36 was a big improvement, even with it's own issues.
I wouldn’t say MP-05 was bad. Has it been improved upon in the 17 years since? Absolutely.
But it still has its merits and was a perfect compliment to MP-01/04 Optimus upon release, and honestly still is. Considering the limitations the designer had at the time, he’s a pretty dang good figure, imo.
