Did you notice there's a sticky thread dedicated to helping others identify transformers, and that thread has over 600 posts? I don't think most collectors know every single bot out there, and sometimes they need help.
And not everyone has the time to memorize which transformer has been KOed and which has not. This board is filled with stories of collectors who have been fooled.

Granted there are some pretty authentic looking KOs out there, but... come on.

Well this thread should technically be moved to the identifying thread. Either that or the OP should have posted it there instead. All threads like this seem to do anymore is give people a chance to bash others for trying to sell goods that they may or may not have described incorrectly.

Id'ing a Ko in box is one thing,.. loose is another( have been taken and know other that have as well)... as for the seller I think that he has been id'ed as a problem on the sites before,.. seems to me that there was other board members that have had poor dealing with this fellow I think is a good thing that these posts are here every once and awhile just to keep us on our toes as we all either get almost or are taken by Ko's every once and awhile.

Whether KO should exist is another issue but they do. So if you sell it I'm fine as long as you clearly identify it as one. Our courts use the reasonable person with no
Specialized knowledge argument so I will use that here and say a reasonable ...Would not know it's a KO.
Btw there's a very good documentary on you tube about KO that basically shows that since companies have moved to china the KO is now a replica because they use the exact same factories materials and intellectual knowledge to make them. Like masterpieces..
