Re: Botcon 2011 Boxed Set up on BBTS

I'm surprised there aren't any pre-sale auctions for them up on eBay. Also, am I crazy or does anyone else see this box set skyrocketing as high as $1000 if someone like FansProject decides to make a Menasor upgrade kit for them?

I may kick myself later, but I passed on this one. Unless a third party makes the combiner upgrade kit, they are just repaints of figures I already have.

Thats would be so cool if they made this collection into a gestalt. If FP does to this collection what they have did for TF2 Bruticus then we are gonna see some crazy stuff in the future.

I can't see how this one is as popular as it is. It's repaints that don't merge or look that good in my opinion And I highly doubt anyone will make something for them to merge. Though that would be awesome. I personally don't really like the set that much which is great on my wallet so I'm happy. But man I LOVES me my games of deception set. But I'm a HUGE seeker nut. Lol. Did wish they were better. Stunticons were one of my favorite teams.

Seems too popular for me to even care about at this point. I like the set ok but it's not that glorious.

Maybe they will make an Auggie to go with them. That would be funny if it was the attendee figure.

No. Saw enough of that sort of thing in ROTF.

Dunno if anyone would make an upgrade set for something that is (1) difficult to obtain and (2) priced so high that many collectors won't want to do anything (like open it or (gasp) play with it) that would diminish the value.

Though, presumably anything that worked with these guys would work with the originals, too.
