Re: a cool new show. Toy Hunter
Watched some of the first Episode tonight.
Fun enough, even if a little unreal. Mask did not come out before Transformers

No. This show is not cool.
The guy on it is a dope and the situations are painfully set up.
No legit Toy Dealer would ever find something and say "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I CAN SELL THIS FOR?!"

I'm not a great poker player, but I'd love to play against this guy

Re: a cool new show. Toy Hunter
This show is terrible. I hope it's cancelled soon. This show overall can't be good for all toy collectors. Totally staged.
If collectors know their shit, they'd know how much a toy is worth, or at least have the common sense to research the value of such toy, not trust it douchebag/lowballers like this.
I don't mind shows that show off vintage/collectible stuff, but not the way this guy conducts business.
I like watching Canadian Pickers, It's a show that shows much more courtesy and manners. And the sellers know their stuff, and understand that they're selling to a middle-man/dealer, so it's a fair and understood price point (AFAIK).

Re: a cool new show. Toy Hunter
I'm hoping someone would have a fake Lucky Draw/testshot/rare TF to fool this douche. That would be priceless.
Do you know how rare this Frumble Luckydraw is?! Do You?! DO YOU?! DO YOU?!?!?!
It even comes with a certificate of authenticity!!!!!

Yeah, he was an idiot for telling the guy how much he could make off of it.
The way he talks, it's clear that he's a scalper. Which sorta bugs me, I mean...it's making the rest of us toy collectors look kinda bad.
