I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to the Pop Culture Show this weekend at the Scottish Cultural Centre, but I'm sure it'll be another great time!

I'm currently in the process of unpacking after a move and reorganizing my life, and I've realized I just don't have the space for some of my collection anymore. I'm interested in selling off certain lines like Animated and TF Prime (possibly others as well) in bulk for reasonable prices, but I'd much prefer to sell to someone who wants to take them all off my hands like a dealer or collector wanting to get a good start on those lines.

All my figures are loose and displayed but complete and in good condition, with few exceptions. They will require some dusting which I'm happy to do, but as my collection is currently just stored in boxes it's not high on my priority list until I've found someone who wants them.

Darn I missed the pop culture show again because I have to work

Was talking to a friend and he mention that NCIX closed down all its physical stores. I was pretty shocked. Spent almost the last hour reading up on how bad everything has gotten there from top to bottom.

The last big thing I got at NCIX was when I got this computer 7+ years ago. I showed up with a list of parts and the sales guy was nice enough to go through it with me and make suggestions, and what PSU would go with my build etc. Man, have things gone downhill since then. Wow.

I would go to NCIX and not consider any other place. Guess there's still Memory Express and other places like ATIC.

Found this little anecdote on reddit interesting about one guys past experience with ATIC:

"Bought a graphics card from ATIC that started acting funny near the end of my warranty. They asked me to bring it in so they could look at it and then kept delaying me over and over until my warranty was up. Then they told me my warranty was up and that they wouldn't help me. Terrible business."

Though, they say things are better now at ATIC and they don't give you a scowling look when you ask for a bag. WTF.

NCIX didn't adapt so they died. I have friends/family who know ppl who worked in the stores and it's been bad for a while. But they just messed up. Kind of like how Sears refused to adapt to the changing retail landscape.

As for the metallic MMPR, nope haven't seen them anywhere so far. Just lots of old stock

Fort Max for $99 do they ever even sell Transformers?

I did see a Fort Max at one of the LD's recently, though I can't remember which one.
