Seriously, it is NOT hard to find a LEGO set you want unless it's brand, BRAND new. LEGO is well-stocked and it's easy to find online if not.

Yeah, not sure which genius at Walmart convinced their boss to do this. Must be based on big data and machine learning. LOL

Re: Price hike for 2020?
So funny enough, I was in the Newmarket Walmart tonight, and the high price tags were no where to be seen. I didn't scan anything, but all the shelf tags were the old prices.

I call it the “Zellers and Target are dead so eat it Canada” strategy.

Re: Price hike for 2020?
I was at a WM yesterday where the new Star Wars BS6 shelf tags were marked 10% higher ($29.9x upped to $32.9x). With this and the other stories, I think it is coming.

So maybe they will be marking up all of their Hasbro lines? Maybe Hasbro is charging them more to carry their products.

Re: Price hike for 2020?
If hasbro is charging more to stock, they should use some profit to up their plastic quality. Just played w ss bumblebee prime and it’s almost on par with Dollarama

Re: Price hike for 2020?
Don't know if this was mentioned.
Walmart has upped the cyberverse prices on some as well. Warrior class is now $21.97 (19.97 before) and scout(?) class is $14.97 ($12.97 before).

Re: Price hike for 2020?
I'm kinda of glad I reached an age where I don't mind slowing the a crawl on my collecting. The prices have already been too high for awhile now, and that's TF's, SW 6" Black and ML 6" figures. It has really helped me to back away from supporting those lines.
In some ways I think I should be thankful retailers are pricing themselves out of the market. I am saving a lot of money I could put towards better more justifiable things.
