transforming DOTM Voyager Megatron, i was trying to split the hood section and i broke the Mack bulldog off.

Dotm voyager Megatron, the pin joint where the bumper is attached. I rely on the other side of the joint now.

Now that I think of it, awhile back I cracked the bottom of the door piece on the recent legends Optimus Prime. I pulled the wrong spot when changing him to robot.

Luckily I stopped before it came completely off. So, once again glue to the rescue.

I'm starting to think maybe I shouldn't transform anything without the instructions in front of me and study time if it isn't G1.

They seemed to be more sturdy and simpler to handle.

G1 sinnertwin, I was fiddling with him, decided to move the "head" down, which is NOT something you have to do for any of his three modes (robot, monster or leg), and *SNAP* off it came... :-(

I also ended up breaking vortex's arms, the green plastic that goes into the balljoint...just seemed to shatter.

Fixed/replaced parts of them both, but I'm extra careful with my replacements.

Edit: Oh, remembered another one! G1 Trypiticon...when pulling off full tilt, snapped off one of the purple prongs on Trypticon's "chest". Then, after digging that pieces out of full tilt, and gluing it back on Trypitcon, I decided "oh, let's see if they're lined up properly, and rather than use, oh, the tower (which I could have "pushed" a broken piece out of) I use full tilt, and got the piece broken and stuck again...this time digging the piece out destroyed the remaining prong. I can be such an idiot sometimes...

So, a year later at TFCon I bought a junker trypticon and I have the piece I need...I just have to get around to disassembly/reassembly.

There are only three toys I have a memory of breaking:

Cybertron Skywarp: The front part of his body wouldn't flip down so I forced too hard and it snapped off. He was one of my first figures too (I started collecting in 2007, when cybertron/classics/movie 07 figures were out)

KO Long Haul: Legs wouldn't transform properly so I forced it and it snapped. Doesn't affect any of the three modes.

KO Bonecrusher (from the same set as Long Haul): The cab thing on his vehicle mode snapped while I was gripping it to attach his arm to Devastator.

Beastwars TM2 Megatron. I don't think it was my fault. It was gold plastic syndrom, I think. BUT the worst part about it was after 10yrs in storage and only being transformed once from beast to bot, I take him out as part of a toy inventory of my stuff, start to transform him and *snap* FML. Did the same thing with a original '80s GiJoe Duke, snapped his ... ahem.. crotch during the same inventorying session.
