I think I did the same. I spent most of my Christmas holidays just doing sidequests. WAY overleveled for the part of the story that I'm in as well.

That's the Famicom Classic Edition; it's the Japanese NES Classic Edition, based on the look of the original Famicom console.
Those look like the 8bitdo controllers because the 8bitdo controllers copied the original Famicom look for their controllers.

Yep. Pretty much has the same games except for a couple. This one has River City Ransom, which I hoped the NES Classic included.

How's the Power Morpher? I saw it at TRU a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn't impressed... I think I'm fully content with my 2 vintage Morphers and my 1 Legacy Morpher...

It reminds me very much of a kamen rider belt. Even the gimmick is kinda kamen ridery.

The last week of November, yes. I was getting really worried they were lost or stolen in the holiday rush. I was thinking that in a week or two, I should contact HLJ and see if they can help in some way, but thankfully they finally arrived.

I scoffed at it and never gave it the time of the day. But maybe I should look into it.

Had it not been on sale, I probably wouldn't have gotten it. It is a cool piece, but it is a one trick pony.

After Xmas I went a little Centurions crazy and finally bought the last one to complete my set, Jake Rockwell, who was really friggin' hard to track down and I ultimately had to buy him with all his weapons, and then his helmet separately.
Then, after having them in my Amazon wish list for years, I pulled the trigger on the official DVD's of the series. They're pretty good. I had bootlegs for the longest time but I wanted officials. The only problem is that since these are from Warner's made-to-order catalog they're totally bare bones. No extra's, not even the old PSA's from the end of the episodes; though there are a couple still on the episodes on the last set. So either those are the only ones they could find, or they just somehow squeaked through the editing process.
The picture is great, but the sound leaves a little to be desired. You really need to crank it to hear it.
