This was the only project to receive perfect scores across the board! It was so good in fact, that it was deemed that the second half of the challenge should not be completed.
I kid... I kid... This was not even judged. It was my 2 Bee. I call him "Exclusive Holiday Bumblebee Mark II". I wanted to create something seasonal, so I decided to go with red as the main colour. What is more Christmassy than silver and gold... got my accents. Toss in some green and blam-o! Good tidings to all!
I would call this a work in progress at best to be honest. I ran into a few issues with this project, that I have learned greatly from:
1. Just because spray paint says it is the same colour on the can, does not mean it is the EXACT same colour.
2. Do NOT forget to sand your parts. The plastic on this is so cheap, I had part of the foot snap on me. Thankfully it still holds together without that part, but I was not happy.
3. Don't procrastinate. The paint still needs to be finished, and I want to add some holiday striping... but I wanted to get it done for this.
Without further delay:
Exclusive Holiday Bumblebee Mark II: Defender of the North!
Armed with his N2 Blaster, he will know what list you belong on...
Gratuitous butt shot (just for you Mr. Ark)
Santa's bitchin' new wheels.
F'in lazy ass elf.
Nothing better than ending your day with a nice mug of hot chocolate.
Why "Mark II"? Two reasons:
1. This became my back-up 2 Bee project when my original one had to be dropped due to time contraints.
2. When I started reassembling him, I realized I had made Iron Man accidentally. WTF!?!
No "Not 2 Bee" for me. I had some ideas, but nothing came to fruition.
Now on to the real stuff...
