Re: Earthrise appreciation thread
Finally got a Wheeljack a few days ago... and he really is one of the best figures from War for Cybertron.
So glad to get him even at full price at Walmart (first and only time I've seen him) as TrU is just not getting any so the BOGO sale has been pointless... heck, every place I've seen Earthrise figures, they have everything else BUT Wheeljack.
Biggest complaint about it is the cheap weapon.. good thing I did have a spare gun that works well with him.

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread
Picked up the combat con micromasters so I could get bogo with a ratbat set.
Really have been meh on the micros but these two seem a step above the ones in siege. A bit more to them both transformation wise and they overall are more interesting toys. Still some uancceptable flimsiness/lack of solid tabbing but oh well.

Nice shots, now pair up Classics Scream with Siege Red Alert 😉 I’ve been mixing and matching my Siege and Classics collection. Most of the Siege is for “cybertronian” modes but figures like Henkei/United Inferno/Grapple will be my “cybertronian” versions of them. Same for my United Hoist and Trailbreaker.

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread
I panic bought Hoist at Walmart yesterday at full price. I'm quite impressed with it actually. Nice looking bot, probably the only must have for me out of the wave. Great poseability too.
Transformation is simple, but pretty much what it should be. I wish they had done something else with the hands just hanging there, but it's not bad. He'll be in bot mode most of the time anyway.
The one oddity I noticed, the first thing I did was put the cannon thing in his hand, and it wouldn't fit. I jammed it through his fist from the bottom and I guess that loosened up his 5mm hole and now it fits in the top of his hand as intended. I guess they made the tolerances too precise.

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread
Received Starscream and Grapple from TRU and I must say I really really like them. I took 2 minutes to file down Grapple's 2 pegs and all is good! They are fun to transform. I took so long to get them cause I never pay full price so ya. Rainchecks paid off!

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread
Love the Earthrise wave. So glad they have kept up the level of detail and quality from the Siege wave. Really think Hasbro knocked it out of the park with the War for Cybertron trilogy here.
In my opinion, Siege and Earthrise is how the ‘84 and ‘85 line of Transformers should have been like. Love the scale and details of these figures. Although, I think Jetfire could have been made a little shorter. But I am being picky by saying that.
