You forgot the scene where Ultra Magnus was supposed to roll up in carrier mode carrying Tracks, Red Alert, and Sideswipe and they together take down Devastator.





Shame on you....Damn that woulda been awesome...

I love the stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor for the 86 movie. I'm hoping that we get a game someday that uses a lot of that stuff so the battle of Autobot City is fleshed out even more.

I'm loving the talk about the 86 movie. I don't think I could ever single out a favorite scene from it. The 86 movie is my all time favorite movie (I used to rent it every chance I could growing up) that will always be a cherished part of my childhood.

I just love everything about it because it encapsulates everything I love about the 80's: science fiction, animation, atmosphere, music... I could gush about it for hours.

hmm...if I had to think on it, aside from those mentioned, I do have 2 favourites scenes from the 86 movie.

First is more of a dialogue exchange between Arcee and Springer; this was just after Galvatron and the Decepticons think Ultra Magnus' shuttle was all but destroyed.

Arcee: "Did we have to let them detonate three quarters of the ship?"
Springer: "Seeing as they would have detonated FOUR quarters, I say it was a good choice."

I don't know...to me this line shows the more sarcastic side of Springer versus "I have better things to do tonight than die." Besides, always gets a chuckle out of me.


Secondly is the whole dancing sequence after Hot Rod and Kup arrive on Junk. Always puts a smile on my face

the first thing that pops into my head as my fav scene would be that whole bad-ass optimus riding through the decepticons then thrusting up into the air and gunning more decepticons down whilst flipping through the air and landing and then taking on megatron. such a bad ass display. usually i think optimus is lame, but he ruled right there.

That's a story board from the script that was not used. The only DELETED scene was indeed the pan on the Prime body after Astrotrain. It was FILMED, then DELETED.
