Re: Repair Thread
Here's a place that might be able to help me. Anybody take apart an Energon Slugslinger's gun before?
I removed the spring so the missile would stop firing but in the process I accidentally took out the launcher switch also.
I'd love to put that piece back in if it were possible, but the cap/end piece of the launcher seems to be glued on fairly tight. Is there any way for me to take that piece off without breaking the toy? Or should I just leave well enough alone having already buggered him up some?

Re: Repair Thread
o...kay.
I need someone with experience fixing Music Label Soundwave. Apparently I got one of the few with horrible QC.
Long story short, was fiddling his him one day, and when I tried to put him into tapedeck mode, his head wouldn't go down. I pushed down and all of a sudden, his head jerked downward and now won't go down in tape mode and won't spring up in robot mode.
how do I fix this? I didn't spend 80 bucks on a Soundwave to NOT have him do anything but sit in box.

Re: Repair Thread
I bought a warbot defender at TFCON and his knee joints are a little loose for my liking, is there a way to tighten them up a bit more?
Thanks.

Re: Repair Thread
Quite a few questions, but I have no answers for any of you, except maybe Matrixholder.
Not having the figure I don't know what the joint is like, but if it's plastic on plastic, some clear nail polish/superglue might help. It works on most joints to make them just a bit thicker, and provide a bit more friction.

Re: Repair Thread
The legs, knee, shoulder and hip joints are all ratchet joints I think. Is that the joints that you use clear nail polish on? how do you apply it?
