Of course its gonna be cheaper if you buy more. You're buying more. That the whole point of Flat Rate shipping, its to make you want to buy more at once. If you walk up to the a guy running Silver Snail and say, "Hey would you charge me little less if I was to buy like 5 of these." I'm sure they wouldn't turn your money away.

Well shit, I went back there today and picked up Henkei Sunstreaker but it turns out they raised the prices on all their Henkei to $30

Considering what they pay for them, $30 is a good price. At least they don't do the normal 30% mark up.

From what I have seen standard retail markup for collectibles is 50%. Online though, it is around 30% unless online retailers are mostly preorder dominated, then it looks like they work with markups at about 15%, sometimes they even sell at cost.

For comparisons sake. Markups in electronics are around 10% to 20%, the exception is high end A/V which is much higher. While markups in the mall retail clothing industry is is usually can be anywhere form 50% to a 1000%++. The wierd thing here is that the markup percetages are higher in the low end brands and the super high end brands.

For all you comic bookers. Book discounts are between 35% to 60%. Depending on volume. At established comic book stores, paying cover price can be over 100% markup, while account holders with 25% discounts are being markedup about 50%.
