My Nightbird has really stiff ankle titlt. Almost felt like it was gonna break the first time. Everything else seems in order. The alt mode is terrific.

It broke while transforming into car mode, while trying to line up the tabs on the backpack hood and legs. I may just remove all of her kibble and have a non-transforming Nightbird. Thanks for the sorry's everyone, I appreciate it.

This also happened to me. The very-front-of-car panel that rotates out of the windshield had one of the hinges snap.

I'm happy with my Nightbird -- I like the gunmetal grey they used in bot mode, and the painted parts have a decent shine. I haven't transformed her yet (and based on everyone's feedback here, I might not) but the glossy black and translucent purple color profile in alt mode is very slick and sinister looking. She'd be a great partner for Barricade.

I'm still waiting for my call from my local EB to pick her and Zetar up. Hopefully they get them this week.

I was going to call my local EB on Friday, but I was already out and figured I would drop in
Lucky, they had the figure beneath the counter, but hadn't called me yet

There's lots of ways the situations could be different, but I'd poke them first, myself - even just to call

Granted, mine was only the drill guy, but lots of people have been getting their Nightbirds; I'd do it

The EB I have the preorders with did not call me - I ended up calling them on Friday and they were in stock already! Went to pick it up yesterday. All is good.

My Nightbird is fine though: I transformed her a couple of times no issue. No breakage or left with any stress mark. In fact the joints and what not on mine are pretty loose and everything slapped into place.

I am... not really impressed with the EB Games preorder systems.



For Ectotron, I was somehow able to preorder through the website without giving them a phone number, so they didn't try to contact me at all.



For Ratchet, I pulled it off their shelf before they could call.



For Zetar and Nightbird, they did manage to call, but they only had Zetar behind the counter. The one Nightbird they had ordered, for me, was on the shelf.


All that to say, I'd check with them rather than trust them to call you.
