Someone over TFW2005 tried getting another MP from that seller for dirt cheap, never happened, he got contacted by Ebay.

i just click on the link and it appears the listing has been removed along with his other items for sale as expected.

Something similar happened to me when I ordered a Hot Toys Iron Man from ebay for 70$ (normal at least 200$). He sent me a tracking number but noticed it was for a Lettermail service. No way can this fit in an envelope. Then his Ebay account got shut down. I got the envelope with a bead inside :S

It was a major pain to get refunded by paypal. They wanted me to file a report with a law enforcement agency or government organization.

This is starting to be a big problem with ebay sellers from China. I have heard some people having issues getting refunded by paypal if the seller empties their account before a refund can be done. Anyone have this problem?

A while back I put in a pre-order for an MP Ultra Magnus. Paid upfront and the guy went out of business... I think. I contacted paypal, paypal sent an email to the seller, seller didn't respond within two weeks, got refunded fully. As long as the seller doesn't dispute the case, I've had no problems with paypal. If they do dispute, then process becomes a lot longer because they have to try to make both parties happy, which is understandable.

Also, don't forget that if you are paying by credit card via paypal, you have that added layer of security from your credit card provider. While I was waiting for paypal to refund the money for the Ultra Magnus, I contacted TD Visa, and they said they could do something on their side. Never tried it though, but it's something to think about as well.
