I had bought a Fort Max from the store but then got one when on sale from online. So I returned one back to the store.

The CSR asked if I had ever opened and I said no (all original tape in place) then she proceeded to open it up and check the contents (which was probably a good idea for that price point). Then she retaped with scotch tape.

So if you find one double taped, it could be for that reason.

Hmm. That hasn't been much for me recently.

I was mildly interested in Fort Max, but I'd hate to get one incomplete. Not in my budget anyway. But, in the future, it looks like the "best plan" in order to get a complete item is to buy when it's released, and then keep and eye out for price adjustments. What a pain...

I remember that just before I bought my CW Computron, I noticed that the tape on the box was already broken, so I made sure to ask the staff if they could open the box for me so I could check the condition of the contents. Nothing was missing/damaged, so I bought that box home. I guess they allowed it because it's harder to find someone willing to buy a box with a damaged seal than one with the seal intact.

Sorry I am going a little off topic here. Can someone please tell me how is Fort Max packaged inside like parts/accessories count, so when I encounter a broken seal box or a double taped box I know what to look out for before I purchase it at my local Toys R Us store.
