Re: I think I will skip Titans Return Skullcruncher

I think you all should skip all the Titan Wars figures....

(so I can have an easier time getting them all! Mwahahahahaha!)

Also, the real cost savings of hollow parts like a forarm isn't so much the plastic volume as it is assembly cost/time. A closed forearm is 2 pieces connected with 1-2 screws, so you have to pay someone to assemble it. The hollow design is one piece, no assembly on that part.

Labor is a much higher cost than materials. Reduce the number of assembly steps = reduced costs.

I'd be afraid to play with Hasbro's, might blow away with a small breeze.

I already have the TW version, and I'm quite happy with it.

Same here. It may have more of a "toy" aesthetic, but he's bulkier than the rest of the iterations for this character so far and I like that Toyworld makes their headmasters in the larger voyager scale. Deluxe is too small for a headmaster, according to the Sunbow scale chart at least.

Scale chart aside, compared to a bat or a wolf, why shouldn't the gator/croc be larger? Even as a kid I used to pit Skullcruncher against Hardhead 1-on-1 in my battles. Tank vs gator is a pretty fair heads-up battle among the headmasters, IMO. Pun not intended.

Crocodiles are well known to grow to the size of tanks after all.

The TW version looked pretty good, but they look to have dropped the line. But then it seems possible FP is dropping the Fx line too.

Though maybe after their recent factory issues they're keeping extra quiet.

Fort Max since it doesn't seem there will be a huge difference, I think I will get the Hasbro one. For such a big item, the shipping might be very expensive.
If the difference is just Sword for Takara vs Hasbro (screw sdcc) than yeah, you may be right about that. I don't even have my Fort Max with his sword doing...anything.

I wasn't getting skullcruncher because he looks too simple to transform and I'm not overly attached to all the headmasters.
The hollow limbs and such could be for weight distribution, or not having as heavy a load on an elbow ratchet, if it even has one.
