Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
Don't even know if I can make it this yr.
But if I do, will there be a chance that the dealer room be open just a little bit longer after the last panel of the day? Last yr, I didn't get a chance to go to the dealer room after the panels and pick up anything

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
Hint, my friends: As exciting as the dealer room is, the question isn't really asking for your shopping lists

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
Since it will be my first time at TFCon, what I would want is to personally meet a bunch of Cybertron members that live outside of Winnipeg.
I would also like to see some concept designs from Hasbro (if they are there).

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
Having the chance to meet and greet people from the board.
Shopping, and more importantly just seeing all of the amazing things in the dealer room.
Taking part in the question and answer panels with guests.
Watching the 1986 movie on a large screen and getting all weepy eyed when Prime dies along with a large group of people.
I really miss the breakfast stuff with Jlvatron, something I unofficially co-hosted for a year or two.
I know I want to see up and coming stuff in the world of Transformers. Content from the new game, anything from a new series. Some big announcement that blows our minds away would be awesome.
I've always enjoyed the entries to the art contests, and the creativity that a few people have channeled into costumes.
Though I've never taken part in one, a customizing class is something I'd want to participate in.
The script reading's fun to watch or even participate in
I miss a whole lot of things to do with TFCon that I haven't had the chance to take part in.
Overall the next TFCon I go to, I'm going to look to participate in way more than the dealer room, which is really only a small part of it.
Oh, the after party's also great, winding down afterwards. When Mr. Chalk was sitting around playing cards with people, that was awesome.
I remember the parts trading sessions in the past were great, but a bit disorganized. Mind you, that's incredibly insane to try and organize something like that.
Hmm........... A contest for a visual scavenger hunt (so people aren't going around grabbing random objects as if they were in an RPG).
Print out a bunch of pics of the various versions of Scavenger, in a variety of sizes and then just hide them all over the convention area. The contestant that records all the locations (or closest to the total without going over) wins. Or something like that.

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
Customizing class!
I second the idea that someone metioned regarding a class on casting molds for customizing.
Another idea is I'd like to see how to work with styrene. Having never worked with it before a little basic tips and tricks on using the material, a quick little primer, would be handy.
Oh heck, I wouldn't mind if this thing were half customizing class, but I'm probably in the minority there...
[insert motorized transformer name here (aka Trypticon)] race.
TF Movie Marathon.
Costume contest (it was very entertaining last year, but it should take place in a room with a stage, not just in front of the giant optimus prime).
Karaoke. No really, most people will love it I'm sure! ;-)
Tournament style Transformers Risk.
I like the idea of a "scavenger" hunt! ^^
That's it for now.

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
As a first timer last year I quite enjoyed myself. I did however run into a few minor complications.
1) A better map that indicates where we are allowed to park. You are not allowed to park across the street at the Toronto Congress centre - you will get told to move, I did and not nicely.
2) Some signage to indicate that the con is at the side of the hotel - I walked in the front door and confused the hell out of the front desk. Fortunately I wasn't the only one and we managed to figure out it was at the side.
3) Maybe move the autographs to a room so there isn't a line up wrapping around the hotel - I had a bit of an issue finding where to pay to get in.
4) If there is any retail promotions this year, have the barcode not cover up the instructions. Have the instructions more readable - I had an issue with Toys r us last year not honoring the coupon.

Re: What do YOU want from TFcon?
I WANT TO GO!!!!
If I could,I would like to meet members from here.Take part in some customizing classes. And get a t-shirt!!!Do they even have t-shirts? :| If they do I want one. I hear Toronto is a great city, but I would be happy to just see eveything I could see at the convention. Meeting like minded people in a cool environment would be awesome.
