Re: Any risk to bring K.O. TF back from the boarder
If what you are concerned about is the fact that it is a KO then perhaps you need to be a little more elaborate.
Importing toys that are made in china that resemble other toys lines is not a crime. Importing items that are a direct violation of copyright laws IS a crime. If you are trying to import the G1 KOs from China that are direct copies of the originals, then you had better keep your cool. They are not going to know they are forgeries and so you can get away with it if you maintain yourself. As for all the other crap that comes out of China, you don't have to worry about it. If it was already in the US then it is fine to bring into Canada.
The guys at the border are far more worried about people trying to scam their way into the country without paying duties and taxes on things like smokes, booze and other like products. They really do not give a crap about your toys.
Bottom line is. Chill out. Keep your cool and have a proper invoice for every item you are bringing back. If you are caught trying to smuggle items that are not on your invoice your vehicle and your licence will be flagged and you will be stopped and searched EVERY time you cross to border. THAT is what you have to watch out for, not if your item is legit or not.
