Your collection goal

In the beginning things were different (CHUG, BW, G1, MP, generations, etc.). Now I've downsized and streamlined to just G1 favs from 84-86 & just Fort Max, Sqawkbox and Scorponok from 87. Almost finished that list aside from the dinobots, Menasor, Sqawkbox, Reflector & Fort Max.

My other list is getting all 84 toy release/Season 1 MPs (Ultra Magnus is the only off list one so far as he's one of my all-time favs). I do want to go outside of 84 as there are some favs characters but I have to have a limit, lol.

The only other 'off the list' toys are CW Devastator (have), Jinbao Feral Rex, Jinbao Warbotron (if there is one) Titan Metroplex and Titan Fort Max.

I had a specific checklist I wanted to complete before I would allow myself to walk away. That checklist:

Combiner: check (CW Devastator and FOC Bruticus)
Triple Changer: check (Generations Springer)
Quad Changer: check (Animated Soundwave)
City Bot: check (G1 Metroplex and G1 Trypticon)
Optimus Prime: check (Classics Optimus)
Megatron: check (Classics Megatron)
Ultra Magnus: check (CW Ultra Magnus)
Soundwave: check (FOC Soundwave)
Dinobots: check (FOC Grimlock and AOE Slog)
Sky Lynx: check (CW Sky Lynx)
Headmaster

Once my list is checked off I'll consider my collection, meager as it is, complete.

1/24 and 1/32 scale to go with my model car collection.

and random legends scale robots.

As I have stated, my goal is to collect CHUG Season 1,2,3,4 with 3rd party, Henkei and Titans Return both Autobots and Decepticons. Now, would you start by collecting the leaders first? (Prime and Megatron). IMO, I think it makes more sence to do 1 season at time, no?

I already have all 6 Seekers Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge.

To have a bigger house! I Need more room to display them!!
I started collecting just after my son was born 4 years ago. My goal is to have a complete G1 based collection of Chug/ CW figures for us to enjoy. I sold most of my '80s G1 figures to fund some of this collection. Would like to stick to Hasbro and Takara to complete this collection but I may have to go 3rd party to get some like the Dinobots.
I'm also starting a fembot collection for my daughter. I have a chromia, windblade and Victorion put away for her. Now I gotta get some Decepticon Fembots!

Were you doing one season at a time? And did you start with the leaders?

I started with Foc prime and Grimlock and I was just gonna do the video game characters but then I started buying Classics figures and realized the most of the video game guys didn't look all that great next to the Chug guys both in scale and Alt mode.
I had a first edition prime Arcee as a stand in but in looking to pick up a generations Arcee or 2 (1 for me and 1 for the daughter), if I can find them for a good price.

Depending on the line that follows me too. But I thought Binaltech was the pinnacle of TF collecting at one point, now I think it's MP...have to see what comes after.

I'd say now that I have steamlined a great deal I'm going to try and finish off classics with the S4 figures coming from TR and the Trypticon next year. After that it will be MP and Mp style figs only
