Fortress Maximus Last Stand of the Wreckers
This is a commission piece, the client wanted a IDW/Last Stand of the Wreckers Fort Max. Not much to go on so we decided that he would be a Mobile Assault Tank.
I used the very versatile Cyberton Metroplex. I hate this mold, its so lanky and skinny. But I managed to bulk up his midsection, remove those nasty feet and give him some added firepower.
I used shots from Spotlight ARCEE and of LSOTW comic to try and come up with something close. Also gave him a Battle Station mode.

For the head I used Primus sanded down with a classic grimlocks waist. Then I cut the wings for the side of the head from plastic.

looks sweet aprim!!!

i was admiring this beast over on tfdub too.
i love how the unicron forearm flap helps give his chest that much more g1-ish goodness!!!!
