I guess that's better than hands being punched and badges being stamped...

Okay so this is too rich for my blood. I just wanted to listen to the Cullen Q and A session.

How much to just hang out? I don't need to shake his hand, get his autograph or gather mustache hairs to clone an uber race of barritone VAs.
What's my best registration bet? Thank you!

Get a weekend pass and make sure to secure your seat in the Q&A room early.

More mustache hairs for me

Really interested to go, but the flight costs for a non-Ontarian like me to get there are ridiculous at $700+ !?! Question to anyone who has been to the previous cons and has had to fly to TO from out west here in Calgary or somewhere else further, is there a better time later on to buy flights in which they're cheaper or is it the same price year round given the expected steady flow of business traffic? Would hate to miss this chance just because the cost to get there is the equivalent of buying more than 4 of the VIP passes.

I have friends who live in Calgary and fly back this area maybe twice a year. They usually fly westjet and look out for seat sales. Other than that, I don't think prices change much between the two destinations.

seat sales and check if you know anyone who works with westjet. Buy their buddy passes. Sometimes people have extras. And if u can do it - fly on standby..(although not necessarily cheaper..)

Some good suggestions already mentioned.
Also,

-Keep checking. You never know when a deal comes up on "Freak-sale-Friday" or "Taco-Tuesday"

-Is driving/bussing to/from Edmonton an option?
I just checked there's no price difference now, but you never know when Edmonton flights get a daily deal while Calgary don't.

-Can you vary your flight days?
Just in case a Thursday flight is cheaper than Friday.
Obviously this is do-able if you have a friend in Toronto where you can stay the extra night for free.

Or you can go with Viarails, that's an option.
