First Impressions: Not impressed by TFA Deluxe Wave 3

I just picked up all four of the deluxe figures in wave 3 and have transformed them all, but I'm not impressed.

Much to my surprise, Oilslick is my favorite with Soundwave coming in second, but Jazz is underwhelming and Snarl is pretty terrible.

Is it just my figures, or do the wave 3 figures have a lot of parts that don't peg down properly. For example, Snarl's legs won't stay together pegged at the back, which is driving me nuts, and Jazz's hood chest always flips up when you move his shoulder articulation.

My Snarl transforms perfectly. All that wave is excellent.

The couple of Snarls that I have looked at through the packaging @ a comic shop have bad paint jobs (esp. in the "crown" area). How bad/good are yours?

My only Animated toy with a paint "defect" is Prowl with a bit of gold paint on the face, but it's a test shot. All my other Animated figures are perfect.

My problem with Jazz is getting his side panels to line up flush in car mode.

My Soundwave has a sloppy visor paint app...

Really, though, my only gripes with Soundwave would be his arms/hands:
- I wish he had actual fists to be able to hold weapons
- the size of the side-door panels on his arms are restricting in some poses

Otherwise, though, I love the guy.

I love my wave 3,EXCEPT Snarl.I agree with what was said,he doesn't "look" right,as if he's not properly transformed.I've looked at my buddies too and he agree's,and it's not like we're inexperienced transformer fan's either,we're G1 kids.LOL
The rest are great though. No paint problems of any kind.

I like Snarl, I got to look at him at Zuffyprime's place and gotta say I'm impressed....something about him, I can't grasp but I like him...except his name should be Slag, that's my only complaint

I also got Soundwave and lots of people have been bashing him. Sure Laserbeak's head could have moved up and down but with perfect paint apps and legs that aren't loose I love Soundwave.

Ya i have that problem too! if i get it flush then his wheels won't turn, if i loosen the wheels he's not flush anymore....i have to keep fiddling with it till it's close enough.

I still love him tho. he's my fav of this wave
