Anyone having problems with Lugnut?

I am having problem with my Lugnut's mace. it would not expand like it supose to be. I unscrewed all the screws trying to figure out what's wrong with it but it just got worst. maybe I should just return it and get another one... anyone else having this problem?

Re: Anyone having problems with Lugnut?

I learned that the mace only works if you have lugnut holding it. Did you try to open everything up by itself? I did that when I first got it also. Doesn't work. Hope that helps.

Ya he has to be hold it, and then press the bottom to make the mace formation...hopefully you didn't mess something up unscrewing it as it seems to be a tricky mechanism it uses.

That's the whole point of the gimmick, also it works better if you slam it like he's angry.

Re: Anyone having problems with Lugnut?

I just got mine and had the same problem as you astrana. I didn't take it apart though, but could not get it to work...until it was in his hands. Boy do I feel stupid...

As for the the actual toy, My thoughts:

Pros:

- His plane mode is VERY cool. Too bad it couldn't have been bigger.
- Transformation is pretty fun and everything 'fits' togerther nicely.
- Mace (once you figure out the trick ) is a cool weapon.

Cons:

- I don't like the teal.
- the leg and elbow joints are a little loose...one of my biggest pet peeves since I was a child.
- the size.

Overall i wanted Lugnet to be one of my favorites, but alias it was not so. He is up there, but Bulkhead still rules my world..

Re: Anyone having problems with Lugnut?

Even when my Lugnut is holding his mace, it does not work well. But yeah, like others, it took me a while to figure out to put the mace in his hand.

Re: Anyone having problems with Lugnut?

Good to see it's a common problem among educated adult professionals... .......
