Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

Had an epic day at Value Village today.

At the first store, I found a bag with a load of G1 parts -- Ultra Magnus head, fists, gun, and pads, Rodimus Prime's instructions and a black flap for his trailer, Jetfire's red pieces and a yellowed arm, Soundwave's gun, and Ravage, Laserbeak, and a broken Buzzsaw. The second bag had Breakdown, Dead End and Blackjack from Combiner Wars in their G2 colours along with several weapons and all the feet and hands.

I went to another store, and all they had was a Titans Return Fortress Maximus and Blaster. Max is missing his head and Blaster has neither his gun nor his Titan Master. But can't complain for $10!

Total cost: $25

You might be able to find some of those missing pieces on ebay. Either that or someone here on the boards might have one they'll sell you. Just my 2 cents. Neway sweet finds.

A friend of mine gave me the excellent advice to get in touch with a kitbasher. I found a guy in the States who got a bunch of Maxes during the big Ollies clearance last year, and he sent me the head, the Titan Master, and Max's missing shoulder pad... for free! Can you believe it?

I also found a G1 Pretender Grimlock 'bot last week. No tail or shell, but a neat little bot all the same.

There were quite a few TFs in varying states. But what I took home was a G1 tailgate

Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

I found a CHUG Warpath and DotM Shockwave last weekend. Didn't want Shock but they were in the same bag. Saw a CW Hot Spot, but left it for the next kid

Is it wrong that I enjoy playing with the movie "Battle Rig Blasters" when I find them in the stores all the time?
