Re: TAKING REQUESTS FOR TF CON WANTED ITEMS!!!

Considering the last wave of Generations with Warpath did not hit Canadian retail yet (only comic and specialty shops to my knowledge), $30 sounds like a reasonable price, if you compare to buying online. Depending on where you buy from, and shipping, you would be paying around the same price, give or take a couple dollars.

Edit:
At Botcon, the cheapest price I could find for Generations/RTS deluxes from the last waves was $25 from only one or two tables. The rest were $30 or more, everywhere. Some people were charging even $50 for the rarer ones.

$30 at a convention isn't crazy. Sellers have to make some kind of a profit.

I imagine if you had deluxes for $30 they'd sell no problem considering they never hit retail here (yet) and people always over spend at conventions.

Re: TAKING REQUESTS FOR TF CON WANTED ITEMS!!!

Thanks for all the great feedback, everyone! I realize $30 is a bit steep, but the cost involved with getting them to me and then up to Canada makes them more expensive. Everything going into the price includes item cost, shipping to get them from online, Canadian taxes(which I will not get back if the item sells), gas to get there, overnight hotel costs, etc..., so the price goes up a bit due to the costs involved, along with the conversion rate hit that I'll take when converting the money made into U.S. funds on the way back home. Not sure if I'll bring them to sell at that price(I think it's a bit much myself), but I just wanted to get your feedback to see what you all thought! Thanks again and keep the requests coming!!!

Agreed, if I needed any of the figures. I'd drop $25 to $30 on each.

I also agree that the $30 price point on deluxe figures is reasonable at a convention. If memory serves Animated Arcee was going for $30+ last year, and she was available at retail at the time.

uuhhh yea...if you have a table full of GEN Warpath for $30...people will be throwing their money at you....THROWING. At this point, him showing up at retail any time soon looks bleak. Add that to the fact that he's pretty freakin great...its worth it and fair for everyone IMO.

Anyone interested in the Target exclusive Ratchet or Starscream. What about the Target 2-packs w/Leadfoot/Ironhide or Bumblebee/Megatron?

Re: TAKING REQUESTS FOR TF CON WANTED ITEMS!!!

The Target exclusives Leadfoot will probably be a big hit since there's no way we're getting them up here allegedly.
And while I did say $30 was too steep for me, $25 I would be willing to pay for a con price.
