Re: Official Toy Fair 2009 Discussion
wow.
i usually do not like to go
too negative on toys,
but these are really bad.
aside from the new prime,
and sideswipe.
it is really disappointing.

I'd say it was more a case of "Garbage in, Garbage out." Benzo is right Arcee is pretty nice, and I like the Ratbat. Are they seriously selling those limbs for Devastator as Deluxes that don't transform into thier own bots? Cause that's just plain wrong. I hate having to look at it again, but I only count 6 different parts on him.

Re: Official Toy Fair 2009 Discussion
Devi is confirmed as only 6 bots from the show.
And to be clear (as some are still confused over on tfw), the big and stupid one is vehicles that 'transform' into Devastator but not robots. The individual constructicons transform from vechicle to 'robot' but don't combine. This also confirmed at the show.
To me Devi is massive fail.
And not much else from the movie jumps out. I really like the Prime and Sideswipe, and the autobot jet looks interesting, but otherwise...

Re: Official Toy Fair 2009 Discussion
With the new higher prices, and the dollar fluxuating, expect him to be around $129.99 CDN.
I'm wondering how Animated can continue on all year when the...second last? wave is showing up in Canada nowish.

Re: Official Toy Fair 2009 Discussion
I'm still shocked at the price tag of Devi. How are they going to convince the retailers to put this on the shelves in this economy? $100 is a huge price tag for a terrible toy. I hope my Walmart gets him in and clears him out for 10 bucks after a month.

Re: Official Toy Fair 2009 Discussion
yeah, you'll probably be able to nab him for like $30 (Ã* la Ultimate Bumblebee) once Wal-Mart decides to clear out everything in time to release the TFTM 3 toys!

What you're seeing there is not Scavenger who transforms and so on, That is the full Devastator with NO vehicles to turn into robots, but only Alt modes. The body is not scavenger, it's Demolishor.
