You are wrong unfortunately.

He is not wrong at all. Your bank plan may allow for you not to be charged for EMT's. All banks (if not included in your plan) charge a standard $1.50 but some may charge right away and others at the end of the month. Also with regards to you having it "remedied" easily that part is false. Ask any bank teller or person on the phone and they will flat out tell you that you are NOT insured against any loss for money that you send out. You can report it but the bank is NOT obligated to do anything so unless you have a special plan, the avaerage consumer get charged and is not covered so in this case it is you who is incorrect.

And most banks charge $1.50 for EMT. This is not "completely and utterly false", maybe not all banks, but TD for sure, and I'm pretty sure RBC too.

LOL, I use TD, never had an issue

Re: Prices on Shelflife
Eeesh. EMT does not guarantee you will receive your goods. You must have a plan that covers EMT fees, cuz the $1.50 is standard, including TD.

Re: Prices on Shelflife
I've gotten that email too.
The reasoning behind ShelfLife wanting you to put how much you'd pay for a figure is build up a realistic database of how much figure are actually selling for. The problem arises when nimrod's put in ridiculously low amounts like that.
When I fill out a "want" I put how much I'd like to spend on that particular item. Sometimes it may be lower than what I see them going for on eBay, but that's because I'd rather pay what I think the figure is actually worth.
Like take G1 Gnaw/Sharkticon. For some reason he is being sold for ludicrously high amounts on eBay, but I'm just not willing to pay over $100 for Gnaw.
But there's being realistic and there's being foolish. Anyone who think's they are going to get a MP Grimlock for $50 is deeply deluded.
